For each scaffold drop of the building’s 12 floors, our team extensively investigates all the concrete to determine the repair scopes. The repair scopes include removing deteriorated concrete, repairing and coating steel reinforcing, cleaning/prepping the surface, and forming/installing new concrete patches ranging from 1 sq ft to 25+ sq ft. Additionally, all control joint sealants are being replaced. The building is fully occupied, so the crew must be careful with noise and dust. This is one of the largest Chicagoland projects OBCI has taken on, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve The DeBruler Company on this project.
