Peoria Public Works Bldg Beautification Project

Peoria, IL

The PPWD wanted to improve the site around their facility.  Generally, the scope consisted of improvements at the entrance and parking lot, creating walking paths, and planting native grasses.  The work performed by the OBCI Team included stormwater detention/retention, asphalt pavement, and sidewalk demolition, grading, P.C.C pavement installation, ADA accessible walks, crushed aggregate walking paths, permeable pavers (Interlock Brick Paving), and native plants installation (Central Landscaping).  Jim Mankel (Finishers 12)led OBCI’s crew for much of the project until he retired in July.  Scott Getz served as GS, and Tim Gillette supplied the winning bid and provided PM services.  Native plant installation is nearing completion as of this post.
